Simone Michelle
As a native of Chicago, IL, nurturing her life long passion for art, Simone studied art and design at Northern Illinois University. She spent some time doing photography and videography in addition to painting before selling her first art piece in 2017. Inspired by the continuity and evolution of black culture, Simone uses brilliant colors against the contrast of melanated skin as a highlight of her work.
